What is the Writing Center?
The mission of the Bulldog Writing Center is to collaborate with Stone Bridge students and faculty to build a highly skilled, creative, and dedicated population of writers who are optimally prepared for future writing challenges. Students can come in and get help on their essays, English assignments, and more!
When is the Writing Center open? Where is it?
The Writing Center is open all lunch shifts on both A and B days. It is located in room 400. Tutoring sessions are around 20 minutes, so make sure that you come at the beginning of lunch!
Can I bring my lunch to the Writing Center?
Of course! You are welcome to eat while you get tutored, but be careful to not bring anything with nuts.
Do I need a pass?
You no longer need a physical pass to prove that you came to the Writing Center. Teachers will get an email whenever their students go to the Writing Center.
How can I become a Writing Center tutor?
Sophomore and Junior English teachers will recommend students to be a tutor in the Writing Center. Students will then have to fill out an application. If there are a surplus of applicants, interviews may be conducted.
